Where a small business should start

The Northfolds team20 October 2026 · 1 min read

Most firms we meet want to do something and do not know what. Here is how we pick the first thing to try.

Start with a task, not a tool

Sample post. Replace with real writing before launch. We start by asking a team which task eats the most of their week, then check whether it is worth fixing.

A good first project is small, happens often and has an owner who wants it solved.

Measure before you change anything

Write down how long the task takes today. Without that number you cannot tell whether the change helped.
